Wedding reportage with Kirti & Roman at Ittingen Charterhouse
Kirti and Roman celebrated their wedding at Ittingen Charterhouse. They were lucky enough to celebrate their wedding on the meadow in the courtyard of the monastery, which was surrounded by apple trees. Kartause is a beautiful wedding location, where you can experience everything in the same place, from the free wedding ceremony, aperitif and to the wedding reception.

Romantic wedding in historical ambience - Ittingen Charterhouse
The free wedding ceremony between the apple trees was the absolute highlight. Despite the great heat, everyone had a place in the shade. The guests sat on festival benches, which gave our pictures a symmetrical look. At sunset, I photographed the couple at the chapel forecourt with the last rays of the sun, the best light. That's when the pictures look the most authentic and individual. This is exactly what Kirti and Roman had in mind for their own wedding. Thank you, we were allowed to be present as wedding photographers at your great wedding celebration!
Tip: Get married at Ittingen Charterhouse
The location is perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Wedding ceremony, photo shoot, aperitif and banquet nestled between a park and medieval houses. Simply everything you need for a romantic wedding! The large Ittingen Charter house is a former monastery of the Carthusians in Warth, in the Swiss canton of Thurgau. From the 8th to the 12th century, it was the seat of the Lords of Ittingen, a family of lower nobility and ministerials of the Guelphs, as Ittingen Castle. Today it is a cultural and seminar center with two museums, hotels, restaurant, an estate farm. The location is popularly booked for weddings and wedding celebrations.
