Wedding tip: Why book a professional photographer for civil wedding?

Anyone who wants to get married in Switzerland will sooner or later end up at the registry office. Every bride and groom experiences a civil wedding. In Switzerland there are many possibilities to marry civilly. Of course, it depends mainly on the bride and groom and what they want. Some celebrate the civil wedding in the big frame, because it is their main wedding. Other bridal couples would like to marry without big ballyhoo in the small framework civilly. For other bridal couples, the civil wedding is a must, it counts for them the church or free wedding as the actual act.

Our experience shows: No matter with which background the civil wedding takes place, it is in any case for a very emotional moment! Although the actual wedding ceremony is a short thing, it is a nice memory afterwards when this moment is captured. This way, the bride and groom themselves can choose the groomsmen and family or even the future generation.

A few arguments to book a professional wedding photographer

In conversations with future brides and grooms, we are always asked why it should make sense to book a wedding photographer or photographer for such a short duration at the registry office. Especially if the actual wedding then takes place anyway in the church or at another location.

So here are a few reasons for a photographer. After that you can still decide for yourself... :-)

Professional wedding photos as the memory

The main reason for photographing the civil wedding ceremony at all is clearly the memories you get through photos. As mentioned above, we experience again and again that the civil wedding ceremony is still a special moment even for bridal couples who are getting married in the church anyway. Often there is not a tear left behind. That's where beautiful wedding photos are very valuable...

Guests should be allowed to be guests

Of course, you can also ask a relative or a good friend who owns a camera to take some pictures. But it is almost impossible to be a guest and a good photographer at the same time. And by the way: It is of course nicer for your guest to be a guest at the civil ceremony, too, and just enjoy this moment instead of having to concentrate on the right moment.

A professional takes professional photos

Clearly, a professional not only has the equipment to create high-quality images, but also the eye for the right image composition. He also knows how to deal with difficult lighting conditions in the wedding venue. Details like flower arrangements, wedding rings and some nice portrait photos of the bride and groom are part of it.

Experience

Photographing a wedding ceremony requires a lot of sensitivity for the right moment. Even as a professional, a civil wedding ceremony, which usually lasts about 15 minutes, requires a lot of concentration. Every photo must be right, otherwise the moment is over...

Our offer for the civil wedding

Although we specialize in full-day wedding coverage with all the trimmings, we also love to accompany a small civil wedding from time to time. Since the civil wedding often takes place during the week, this is of course ideal for us, as we then still have Saturday free for a full-day wedding, and still get to enjoy a few emotional moments during the week.

Prices and offer

So that you do not have to write us an email, what such a civil wedding reportage costs, we have created a separate page with offers for the civil wedding. It's best to just look at it!
