Debora got ready at her parents home in Wald ZH. After a few great shots of details and dressing, as well as a few portrait photos, it was on to Rapperswil for the first look and the photo shoot.

First look and photo shoot in Rapperswil

The First Look is also for us as wedding photographers always a very special moment. A time when the bride and groom see each other for the first time before the wedding and where they have for themselves. There are always a lot of emotions flowing. Rapperswil is a very beautiful place for beautiful wedding photos. The many beautiful houses and the many beautiful streets with cobblestones are perfect for elegant and romantic photos. Of course, Rapperswil Castle with a view of the mountains and Lake Zurich is also a great spot.

Open Air Wedding and Wedding Party at the Jucker Farm in Bächlihof

We have been to Jucker Farm a few times as wedding photographers and also privately. We really like the atmosphere there. The staff is also very nice. Organizing an open air wedding in Switzerland is not that easy, it also needs a good Plan-B in case the wedding ceremony literally falls into the water. At the Bächlihof, there is enough space for a Plan-B with the barn.

After a charming wedding ceremony with many personal words, which was held by a pastor couple, the aperitif also took place on the Bächlihof. After the aperitif, the bride and groom disappeared and went on a little excursion during which we took a few more wedding photos in nature. So the bride and groom had two subjects for their wedding pictures: in the morning the city of Rapperswil and in the evening a few photos in nature.

Barbecue and bonfire

Back at the Jucker Farm, the bride and groom opened the barbecue buffet. Adorned with a great bonfire and many funny contributions, the evening went by in a flash. Too fast this wonderful wedding day was over....
